It started with a cat named Burzhuy
Iryna found a doll-face Persian in a classified ad during the hardest years of her life. He stayed by her side through illness and depression — and when she immigrated from Ukraine in 2010, he came too.
Our daughter was only 18 months when Burzhuy passed. As she grew, she became obsessed with cats—for a while, she called herself a cat. Her name was "Meow." We knew we wanted to get her a Persian like Burzhuy.
When our daughter — who called herself "Meow" — was ready for a Persian of her own, we discovered how much had changed. Extreme flat faces. Health complications. Kittens raised in isolation, not homes.
So we decided: if we couldn't find what we were looking for, we'd create it.
Iryna handles all kitten care and support. I handle the social media because, honestly, she's too busy with the cats. This is her mission. I'm just here to help her build it.
