Golden Persian Cats
The golden Persian is the warm cousin of the silver chinchilla: a rich apricot-to-honey undercoat tipped in black, with luminous green eyes.
We don't currently have Golden Persian kittens.
We're a doll-face Persian cattery in Mansfield, TX. Here's what this look is all about — and the temperament-matched kittens we do have available now.
Golden vs. silver chinchilla
Goldens and silvers share the same tipped-coat structure; the difference is the undercoat — warm golden tones instead of cool white. Both have green-rimmed eyes and the same mellow, affectionate temperament.
Temperament & grooming
The fine tipped coat does best with brushing three to four times a week. Bred in the doll-face structure, goldens enjoy healthier breathing and fewer eye problems than flat-faced Persians.
